DO YOU OFFER FREE ESTIMATES?
Yes, the Junk Pros offers free estimates to all our customers. If you like the price we give you, we always come ready to work and we can take care of everything right then and there for you.
If you don’t like the price, you are not obligated to pay anything. It is easier for both parties to have one of our experienced Pros come out to your home and asses the junk in person. This way we can give you an “Exact” price, instead of a ballpark estimate. We want everything to be as easy as possible for you. Check out our pricing page for different truck load price estimates.
DO YOU CHARGE BY THE LOAD OR AMOUNT OF JUNK?
We charge by the amount. That is one of the benefits of going through a company like the Junk Pros, because with a dumpster you have to pay the full amount, whether you fill it up or not. We charge you just on how much what you have fills up inside our truck, not by the load.
Also we do all the loading for you, which is another great benefit of going with the Junk Pros, opposed to using a dumpster. We are truly a customer service based business, our entire removal process, and pricing is based around doing what makes the customer happy. When you get yourself a dumpster for your junk, your work is just beginning. When you hire the Junk Pros for your junk removal, your work is finally over.
DO WE HAVE TO HAVE ALL THE JUNK IN A PILE?
No. The Junk Pros will come inside you home, in the back yard, pretty much where ever, in order to get your junk for you. You can just tell us what is where and we will do the rest, there is no need for you to have everything in a pile.
Most of the time for customers, it is easiest just to have an idea of what you want gone, and wait for us to arrive. Once we are there, you can show us around to all the different places where the junk is, and we can assess everything from that. Once you give us the green light, we get to work and start cleaning, and getting rid of the junk for you (no matter where it is). You can basically use us like a clean up service, on top of a junk removal company. Don’t waste all your valuable time cleaning everything out, and piling the junk up, just call the Junk Pros, and we will take care of the rest.
HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL?
The Junk Pros serve the communities of Fairfield County, CT, New Haven County, CT, and Westchester County, NY.
DO YOU FINISH JOBS RIGHT AFTER ESTIMATES?
Yes. If you like the price one of our Junk Pros quoted you on-site, we always come prepared to work with two Junk Pros, and a truck. This way we can take care of everything right then and there for you, and to avoid making you schedule a second time. No one wants to have to schedule two separate appointments, your time is valuable and there is no need for us to make it more complex.
If you would like just an estimate, so that you can compare prices, we can do that for you too. The Junk Pros are here for your convenience, just let us know what you need.
HOW MANY GUYS COME TO MY HOUSE?
We typically send two Junk Pros to every job, but there are always different circumstances, so if need be, we can always send more. There are plenty of Junk Pros at your disposal. Your typical junk removal job only requires two guys and a truck, but if we come to your house for an estimate and we feel it would make the job more efficient or cost-effective, we will get more.
On certain yard clean ups, or basement/attic clean outs, we will come with three, and sometimes four Pros. This way we can finish the clean up faster, which in the long run will save you money, and us time. It works out well for everyone.
DO YOU HELP TO CLEAN OUT SPACES, LIKE ATTICS OR GARAGES?
Yes, of course, any space you need cleaned out. Our Junk Pros are professional, and well-trained in cleaning out any space in your home, and that includes, attics, crawl spaces, closets, you name it, we will clean it out.
We are here for your convenience, and that includes cleaning out spaces in your home, and getting rid of all the junk. There is no need for you to do all that work when we could do it for you. Just check out our What We Take page, and see all of what we clean, how we charge, and any other questions you have.
WHAT KIND OF JUNK ARE YOU UNABLE OF REMOVING?
Disposal of certain hazardous and environmentally unsafe materials is strictly regulated by federal, state, and local laws. For example, we cannot pick up medical or biological waste, paints, solvents, asbestos, flammable fuels or oils. Read our full list of acceptable and unacceptable items.
WHAT SIZES ARE YOUR TRUCKS?
The Junk Pros truck is 15ft long, 8ft wide, and 6ft high. Our truck can fit a ton of your junk and is approximately 20% larger in total volume than our local competitors (roughly the size of a small bedroom or a 18 cubic yard dumpster). We charge based on volume, so depending on how much your junk fills up inside our trucks, is how much you pay. Of course, we do all the work of lifting and loading for you.
If you are researching between us and a dumpster, we can try to help you out. With a dumpster you will receive more space for the money, by about $20 to $30. With a dumpster though you have to pay full price whether you fill it up or not, with us it’s just about volume. With a dumpster you have to fill it up yourself, with the Junk Pros, we do all the loading, lifting, sweating, and cleaning for you.
HOW CAN I PAY?
We accept cash or credit (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover) at the time of your junk removal appointment. One of our professional and friendly junk removal site managers will assist you with the payment process.
HOW FAR AHEAD SHOULD I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
You can book an appointment one day or more in advance on our online bookings page. For same day junk removal service, please contact us at (203) 979-0550 for availability.
DO YOU HAVE ANY JOB OPENINGS?
We are always looking to add new members to our growing Junk Pros Team. If you think you have what it takes to be a Junk Pro, then check out our employment page and look at some of our positions, and see if there is one that catches you eye.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Because we are a small business we kindly ask that cancellations must be made 48 hours in advanced in writing to info@grizzlyjunkpros.com. Any dumpster rental booked and cancelled with 48 hours notice will receive a full refund minus a $25 fee.

Each dumpster rental comes with an agreed upon loading weight limit. Only after we dump the contents of the container will we know if you were over your rented weight allowance. When we arrive at the transfer station they weigh our truck, we then empty the contents, and then they weigh our truck again. If you are over your weight limit we will notify you of the additional charge via email with your receipt detailing everything.
Do I need to be onsite to accept the dumpster?
Being onsite to accept your delivery is the best way for a seamless transition. But you do not need to be present should you give us a good description of where to drop it off. However, if you need us to return to relocate the dumpster there is a fee of $95.
Will your dumpster damage my driveway?
All of our dumpster come equipped with wheels on the ends for a smooth landing. We're also able to lay down wood boards when requested. This will allow the container to sit atop the wood instead of your driveway or yard. We do not carry wood in our truck unless requested with your booking.
When do I pay?
To rent our dumpster payment is due upfront via cc and is based on how many tons you think your project will require. Any overweight charges will be applied to your cc on file after the pickup and tipping have been completed and a detailed receipt sent to your email.
What if I need to cancel my order?
If you need to cancel your dumpster rental we can either keep the money in your account for when you're ready or offer a 95% refund.
What if it rains or snows inside of my dumpster? Do I need to pay for the extra weight?

While the dumpster is in your possession you are 100% responsible for what goes into it including rain, snow or even your sneaky neighbor who puts their junk in your dumpster. However, when we collect your dumpster most of the rain water sitting inside will come out when being loaded on to the truck.

Someone from the office will usually send a follow up email as your rental period comes to a close, but we must hear from you in order to book the pickup. Any additional time past the agreed upon rental period will result in a $15 per day charge.
What is considered a full dumpster?
You can fill your container to the top edge but can not continue to load junk causing items to spill over or stick out of the top. This is mainly a safety concern when our drivers are in transit to the transfer station, we cannot risk items falling out of the truck while on the road. If you're dumpster is improperly loaded we may not pick it up and you will be charged for the unsuccessful trip out.
