Free Book Collection Service
We're currently offering a free book pick up service to our customers that book a service with us. This collection process can be done anytime one of our drivers is already at your home for an existing service appointment. This can be done for any type of service booked!
How it Works
- First find all of the books in your home you'd like to get rid of.
- Place them in any type of box that can be easily picked up by our drivers.
- Remember books in large quantities can be very heavy so try to keep this in mind during your box selection.
- Either hand to one of our JUNK PROS onsite or place the box(es) outside for our driver to collect during your service.
- The driver will take as many boxes as he can fit in his truck.
Our Book Collection Process
- After our driver loads the books in our truck he drops them off at our warehouse for processing.
- After the books are dropped off at our warehouse our workers sort them by category; textbooks, children's books, novels, etc.
- We check the condition for all of the books. Quickly asses for damage, missing pages, rips/tears, and inside markings. Badly damaged books are recycled and the rest we try to find a new home. We have many connections with local schools, nonprofits, and donation centers.
- For any books remaining we try to sell online and for any books sold a portion of the proceeds are directly donated to a local nonprofit called Hope In Harmony.
