How do I use my Grizzly Bag?
- Unravel the Grizzly Bag completely and fold the sides over each other in half creating four walls.
- Move your Grizzly Bag to a location within 10 feet of truck access (keep away from low hanging tree branches and wires).
- Begin to load your junk inside the bag. Fill the base of the Grizzly Bag and pull up the sides to fill in the remaining space.
- All done? Schedule your collection online or by phone and it's gone within 48 hours Monday through Saturday!
What can I put in my Grizzly Bag?
You can use your Grizzly Bag for ordinary household junk, light-demo, wood, broken down furniture, old carpet, toys, clothes, gardening and yard debris. Hazardous waste like asbestos, batteries, liquids, chemicals, or food waste is not allowed inside of the bag and will not be picked up. If you're unsure about something just send an email and we'll be happy to assist.
Where should I place my Grizzly Bag?
The bag must be positioned within 10 feet of our truck and to be able to back directly up to it , and please keep in mind that the road/driveway needs to be about 14 ft wide for our truck to gain access. The area needs to be clear of obstacles such as overhead wires, tree branches, structures or parked cars.
Can I fill my Grizzly Bag to the top?
Yes but do not fill the dumpster bag above the side walls. Please make sure the bag handles are available for the driver to reach and hook.
Do I get the Grizzly Bag back?
For safety, the Grizzly Bag is a single-use product. Your bag and all of its contents will be disposed of at the time of collection.
Can I put dirt, concrete, or any other heavy dense materials in my Grizzly Bag?
No these types of heavy materials are not allowed inside of the bag due to weight and safety restrictions. (No concrete, stone, asphalt shingle, dirt, tree limbs, stumps, plaster, etc.). Grizzly Bags filled with hazardous materials or any unacceptable items will not be picked up and a $60 travel charge will be added to the invoice.Also, to avoid unnecessary extra weight caused by rain water, we encourage you to cover your Grizzly Bag in wet conditions but this is not mandatory.
Do I need a permit to use a Grizzly Bag?
This depends on where you're looking to place your Grizzly Bag. If it is on your property, driveway, garage, front yard, you should not need a permit because it is on private property. However, if you choose to leave it on the street, walkway, or are doing work in a public area like a park, school, etc. you may need a permit. Call your town and ask they should be able to assist you with this matter.
When will I receive my Grizzly Bag?
We ship out or delivery your Grizzly Bag the same or next day of receiving your order. Depending on what part of the country you're located in, the Grizzly Bag will arrive within 1-5 days either by our own delivery cars or by USPS/UPS. For more precise information on this please email our office.
When will my Grizzly Bag be picked up?
Your Grizzly Bag will be collected within 48 hours from the time you book the collection. If it is urgent, we encourage you to email us in advance and we will do anything we can to assist. Please notice that we don't do pick ups on Sundays, so if collection is ordered on Saturday, we will pick up on Monday or Tuesday.
Should I be home for the delivery/pick up?
It’s not necessary to be home, as long as we have access to your Grizzly Bag. Please make sure there are NO low hanging power lines or tree branches in the location.
