Dumpster Trucks In Action
-
WHAT IF IT RAINS OR SNOWS INSIDE OF MY DUMPSTER? DO I NEED TO PAY FOR THE EXTRA WEIGHT?Yes, we can't control unexpected natural events. While the dumpster is on your property, you're responsible for its contents, whether it's unexpected weather or a neighbor adding to your load. But don't worry, most rainwater will drain when we lift the dumpster onto our truck.
-
DO I NEED TO BE ONSITE TO ACCEPT THE DUMPSTER?Being there for the delivery ensures everything goes smoothly, but it's not mandatory if you provide detailed drop-off instructions. Should you need us to move the dumpster later, there's a $95 relocation fee.
-
WHAT ITEMS ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE DUMPSTER?Prohibited items include; NO 55 Gallon Drums Empty or Full NO Car Batteries NO Tires (or charged at $50 per tire) NO Asbestos or asbestos containing products NO Hazardous Materials NO Paint, oil, solvents, pesticides, household cleaning materials, etc., NO CFC Containing Appliances; air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers, dehumidifiers, etc. (or charged at $50 per item) NO Rock, Stones, Dirt, or Sand
-
HOW WILL I KNOW IF I EXCEEDED MY WEIGHT LIMIT?Your dumpster rental includes a specific weight allowance, and we'll only know if you've exceeded this limit after we've dumped your load. At the transfer station, they weigh our truck before and after unloading. If your load exceeds the agreed weight limit, we'll inform you about any additional fees via email, providing a detailed receipt of the transaction.
-
IS MY DUMPSTER AUTOMATICALLY PICKED UP?NO. Pickup requests must be made online. We won't assume your dumpster rental period is over without confirmation from you. As your rental period ends, we might remind you via email, but it's crucial to inform us directly for pickup scheduling. Overstaying the rental agreement incurs a $15 daily fee.
-
DO YOU OFFER HELP LOADING THE DUMPSTER?Yes we do! Call us for assistance (203) 979-0550.
-
HOW LONG IS THE DUMPSTER RENTAL PERIOD?Our standard dumpster rental lasts for 7 days, but we're flexible. Need more time? Just let us know, and we'll work with you. Exceeding the rental period incurs a fee of $15 per day.
-
WHEN DO I PAY?For our dumpster rental, payment is required in advance through credit card, based on the estimated tons for your project. Should your load exceed the pre-estimated weight, any additional charges will be billed to your card on file. Once pickup and disposal are complete, we’ll send you a detailed receipt via email to keep you informed.
-
WHAT IS CONSIDERED A FULL DUMPSTER?Ensure your dumpster is loaded up to the top edge only, without overhanging debris for safety reasons. Overloaded containers pose a risk during transit and may lead to items falling onto the road. If your dumpster is overfilled, we might not be able to pick it up, and you could face a charge for the failed pickup attempt.
-
WILL YOUR DUMPSTER DAMAGE MY DRIVEWAY?Our dumpsters are designed for easy placement, featuring wheels on the ends to protect your property during delivery. On request, we can also place wooden boards under the dumpster to prevent any contact with your driveway or yard, safeguarding against damage. Please specify the need for wooden boards when you book, as we only bring them if asked.
-
HOW MANY GUYS COME TO MY HOUSE?Our standard crew consists of two experienced Junk Pros for most jobs, ensuring efficient and effective junk removal. However, we understand that every job has its unique requirements, so we're flexible and ready to dispatch additional pros as needed. For larger projects, such as yard clean-ups or clearing out basements and attics, we might bring three or even four team members to get the job done quicker, ultimately saving you money and us time. It's a win-win situation designed to provide the best possible service tailored to your specific needs.
-
DO YOU FINISH JOBS RIGHT AFTER ESTIMATES?Absolutely. When you receive a quote from us and it suits your budget, our team is ready to tackle the job on the spot with two Junk Pros and a truck at your disposal. This approach saves you the hassle of arranging another appointment, respecting your time and streamlining the process. And if you're in the market for just an estimate to weigh your options, we've got you covered there as well. At Junk Pros, your convenience is our priority—just tell us what you need, and we'll adapt our services to fit.
-
DO YOU OFFER FREE ESTIMATES?YES! We provide complimentary estimates to all our clients. If our quote meets your approval, our team is ready to handle the job immediately. However, if you’re not satisfied with the quote, there’s absolutely no obligation to proceed. For accuracy, we recommend having one of our skilled professionals assess your items directly at your location. This allows us to offer you a precise, not just an estimated, cost. Our goal is to streamline the process for you. For an idea of pricing, please visit our pricing page, where you can find estimates based on different truckload sizes.
-
DO WE HAVE TO HAVE ALL THE JUNK IN A PILE?We go the extra mile—literally into your home, backyard, or wherever your unwanted items are located. There's no need for you to gather everything into one pile. Just give us a heads-up on what needs to go, and upon our arrival, guide us to the various spots. After a quick assessment and your approval, we spring into action, clearing out all the junk, regardless of its location. Think of us not just as a junk removal service but as an all-in-one clean-up crew. Save your energy and time; let Junk Pros handle the heavy lifting and hauling for you.
-
DO YOU CHARGE BY THE LOAD OR AMOUNT OF JUNK?We base our pricing on the volume of junk you need removed, making our service a flexible and economical choice. Unlike dumpster rental, where you pay a fixed rate regardless of how full it becomes, we charge based on the space your items occupy in our truck. This approach ensures you only pay for what you need to have removed. Additionally, we offer the convenience of doing all the heavy lifting for you. Choosing Junk Pros over a dumpster rental not only means personalized pricing but also eliminates the hassle of loading the junk yourself. We pride ourselves on being a customer-centric business; our service model and pricing structure are designed to prioritize your satisfaction. With Junk Pros, the end of your junk is the end of your worries.
-
DO YOU HELP TO CLEAN OUT SPACES, LIKE ATTICS OR GARAGES?Absolutely! Our Junk Pros are equipped to clean out any space in your home. This includes attics, crawl spaces, closets, and more—no area is off-limits for us. Our team is professional and trained to handle a variety of clean-out tasks efficiently. We're here to make your life easier by taking on the hard work of cleaning out spaces and removing all unwanted items for you. Why stress yourself with the cleanup when our experts can handle it swiftly?
-
WHAT SIZES ARE YOUR TRUCKS?Our Junk Pros trucks are quite spacious, with dimensions of 15ft in length, 8ft in width, and 5ft in height, giving you plenty of room to fit your unwanted items. Our trucks can hold as much as a 20 cubic yard dumpster, which is about 20% more than what our local competitors offer—comparable to the size of a small bedroom. When it comes to pricing, we base it on the volume of junk you need us to haul away. You only pay for the amount of space your junk occupies in our truck. Unlike renting a dumpster, where you might pay for space you don't use, our service ensures you get the most value for your money. Plus, we handle all the heavy lifting, loading, and cleaning, saving you the hassle and sweat. Considering a dumpster? While it might seem like you get more space for your buck, typically only $20 to $30 more, remember that you pay the full price whether you fill it or not. Our service is tailored to your needs, charging based solely on volume and providing the added convenience of us doing all the work for you.

-
DO I NEED A PERMIT TO USE A GRIZZLY BAG?This depends on where you're looking to place your Grizzly Bag. If it is on your property, driveway, garage, front yard, you should not need a permit because it is on private property. However, if you choose to leave it on the street, walkway, or are doing work in a public area like a park, school, etc. you may need a permit. Call your town and ask they should be able to assist you with this matter.
